A couple. A ski trip. An avalanche. That’s the setup for this one.
After an avalanche Jake and Zoe find themselves to be the only people left in the world, or their corner of it anyway.
Everyone has vanished. They try to leave the village and no matter
the road they take it leads back to their hotel. And time seems to move
differently.
While I figured out the “twist” at about the halfway point I finished
the book and liked it. It wasn’t great but it was a fairly short book
and I didn’t have to force myself to finish.
