At not quite 16 she hasn’t been made pretty yet.
In the future when you turn 16 you go from being ugly to being turned pretty. When you’re pretty life is one big party. And Tally can’t wait to be pretty.
But what is ugly and what is pretty? Tally thinks she knows until she meets Shay. Shay isn’t sure she wants to be turned.
And that’s when everything changes for Tally.
I love this series and so I’m rereading it.
