That is the story tackled in Defending Jacob.
The story is told in the form of current grand
jury testimony and flashbacks. The story unfolded in such a way that I
was drawn in and felt invested in the Barber family. I found this a
quick read despite its over 400 page count.
Well written, heartbreaking tale.
