In February 2008 10 year old Nujood was married against her will to a
man in his 30’s. Her father arranged this. Just a couple of months
later she managed to make her way to a Yemen court house and asked for a
divorce. She is an amazing and brave girl and her sharing her story has
helped other girls speak up and cry out for help.
Heartbreaking in the cruelty this child, little more than a baby,
faced at her husbands hands, but such an amazing tale of courage and
strength.
