Ever wish you could be a fly on a wall
and know what people were thinking? That’s what this book was like. The
story is set during a weekend of activities leading up to the wedding
Winn’s daughter Daphne, who is very pregnant.
I found this story slightly
uncomfortable, in a really shouldn’t be seeing this kind of way. It felt
like I was eavesdropping on the people at the bride’s family summer
home for the festivities. There were hookups, missteps, betrayal,
self-discovery, healing, letting go and growing up and the reader has a
birds eye view of it all.
